Third Floor Laptop Area
Beyond PubNet, the third floor of the Library has ports and electrical sockets for those with network cards in their laptops. Patrons will need to supply their own Category 5 patch cable to connect to the ports. If you have a Windows PC, you need to go into the Control Panel and set your network to automatically obtain an IP address.
If you need help configuring your Mac or PC laptop, contact the OIT Helpdesk at (503.725.4357) or on a walk-in basis at Smith Memorial Center, Rm. 18.
