CIRCULATION
	ATLASES The Science-Engineering floor follows the circulation policy of the Library. Accordingly, Library-use only materials ordinarily do not circulate, including maps and most atlases, except under special circumstances.. SPECIAL LOAN PASSES Maps may circulate for a short period of time-- usually just a few days. Special loan passes must be signed by a professional librarian or library assistant at the reference desk on the 5th floor. Or, after 5:00pm, by the Librarian on duty at the Information Desk on the ground floor. Items marked reference do not circulate under any circumstances. These include certain atlases; as well as map catalogs, indexes, guides, etc. Also maps marked historic, and some other special maps, do not circulate.
