BLM MAPS

 BLM (Bureau of Land Management) maps for Oregon are filed in Map Case 12, drawer 14. BLM maps appear in two series:

surface management status
surface-minerals management status

All maps are color coded to show land management status (BLM, Forest Service, state, private). Other features on the maps include transportation, topography (elevation contours), rivers and lakes, towns and elevation in meters as well as feet. Surface-mineral maps contain the same information as the surface management maps and cover the same areas but have the federally-owned mineral rights overprinted.
